WHAT ABOUT THE APOSTILLE?

Malaysia isn’t a member of the Hague Convention, and so doesn’t recognize the Apostille. If you are looking to apply for a work permit in Malaysia, then the Malaysian Consulate Legalization is often required.

If you are looking to work in a Hague Member country, then the Apostille is used and has abolished the need for that country’s embassy legalization. Below you will find those countries in the Hague Convention that accept the apostille.
