Obtain both State and Federal Authentication for your degree or transcript.

Receive a CNA (Certificate of Notarial Authority) issued from the Secretary of State, and Federal Authentication issued from the U.S. Department of State in Washington DC.

Some countries such as the UAE and Canada will require BOTH State and Federal Authentication in order to apply for their country’s embassy / consulate legalization. Be sure to contact the country you wish to obtain legalization from for their exact requirements.
